A family and its ties to the region
The Paterno family has been engaged in agriculture for a number of generations and it is precisely the family-run farm which gave rise to the differentiation of business models and the future establishment of the holding company.
Growing crops on the slopes of the Lagorai mountains and the connected business activities enabled the family to broaden their outlook towards wider horizons without ever betraying their origins.
Local social and economic development is the Group’s mission. It is no coincidence that it chose Valsugana as its base.

1986
The origins
Acquisition of agricultural estates, the first companies of the Group.
1993
The first DIY
Trento: opening of the first Agri Center DIY store, a franchise of the Milan-based Rinascente group.
1995
Eurobrico is born
Termination of the franchising agreement and creation of the Eurobrico brand, with the first store in Belluno.
1996 - 1999
Expansion
Opening of 5 Eurobrico stores in the Veneto and Trentino regions.
2000
Corporate consolidation
From partnerships to companies: the Paterno Group is born.
2001
Further expansion
Inauguration of the Trento Nord business park and the Eurobrico store.
2002
Roots
Inauguration of the new Paterno Group headquarters and the logistic platform of Eurobrico in Castel Ivano.
2003
New business unit: shopping centre
Opening of Le Valli di Borgo Valsugana shopping centre with a Eurobrico store.
2004
Acquisitions
Acquisition of the former Ceramica Valverde industrial complex, present location of XLAM DOLOMITI.
2005
New business unit: ski resort
Acquisition of Società Tesino S.p.A. and rehabilitation of the ski resort and facilities, today Funivie Lagorai.
2012
New business unit: production of XLAM panels and construction of buildings with XLAM technology
XLAM DOLOMITI is established in the former Ceramica Valverde industrial complex acquired previously.
2016
New business unit: Italian furniture brand
Opening of CasaTua, a new Italian furniture brand with locations in Padua, Trento and Rovereto. With the latest brand, the Paterno Group completes its line of home services and products: wood building materials, DIY and furniture.
2017
New business unit: agriculture and food
The Maso Paterno agricultural estate creates a new product brand: Melagorai, 100% natural apple juice. 6 flavours derived from 6 types of apples grown exclusively on the slopes of the Lagorai mountain range and cold pressed.
2017
New location
The historical Agraria Trentina store is revamped and moved to a building opposite Le Valli shopping centre.
2019
Restyling of the logo and of the corporate image
New website and revamping of the coordinated image online and offline.
2020
The Group and the new generation
Training alongside the brothers at the head of the holding company are the young members of the new generation, Mirco, Nadia, Angela and Stefania Paterno.
